1997 – The Lord spoke to the heart of Rev. Earnie Pirkle while Earnie was standing alone in a stairwell at a church conference. There in that stairwell the Lord revealed to Earnie that a church should be planted in the Godley Station area.
January 22, 1998 - Under the leadership of Rev. Earnie Pirkle, Bull Street Baptist Church adopted a 5 Point Vision which included starting a church in West Chatham.
September 30, 1998 - Bull Street Baptist Church bought 25 Acres of Upland Property from the Branigan Corporation in Godley Tract for $375,000 with plans to start a church.
November 19, 2000 - The first service of The Church at Godley Station was held in the Conference Room at the Red Roof Inn at I-95 and Pooler Parkway.
July 26, 2001 - The Church at Godley Station held its first service at the Seventh Day Adventist property.
April 13, 2008 - The Church at Godley Station voted unanimously to constitute as an autonomous church. The decision was unanimously supported by Bull Street Baptist Church.
July 2008 - Bull Street Baptist Church deeded 25 acres in Godley Station, free of charge to The Church at Godley Station.
November 9, 2008 - The Church at Godley Station officially constituted as a church.
September 21, 2008 - The Church at Godley Station broke ground for its first building.
December 20, 2009 - The Church at Godley Station worshipped for the first time in its new building.
January 24, 2010 - The Church at Godley Station dedicated its new building.
September 21, 2014 - Pastor Earnie Pirkle retired and the Church at Godley Station voted unanimously to call Dr. Darren W. Thomas to serve as Senior Pastor.
July 2017 - The Church at Godley Station voted unanimously to build an additional 8,000sf facility to meet the needs of the growing Children, Student and Small Group ministries. Tentative groundbreaking scheduled for Fall 2018.
