"I have learned to kiss the waves that throw me up against the Rock of Ages." - C.H. Spurgeon

These are definitely challenging times that we live in, but we know that our God is a never-changing, overcoming Rock. Therefore, we face these present uncertainties with great confidence and peace in knowing that we can depend on Him to see us through.

Although we will not be holding any gatherings on campus until after Friday, April 3 (possibly longer), we have developed other very creative and meaningful ways to be in God's word together and to stay in contact with one another during the next several weeks. Check them out below and invite your friends to join us!

We are rarely still and hardly ever silent. Our lives are bombarded with constant audio stimulation: radio, television, technology at every turn. Work, school and family chatter. Even our time at church rarely gives us moments to pause, be still and reflect. Yet we know that it is in the silence that we hear God speak the loudest.

These recent events have caused us to become somewhat unplugged from the normal hectic pace of life. We view these times as uncertain, inconvenient and burdensome, but what if we could use this situation to reconnect with our Creator? What if this "forced sabbatical" helped us to recognize His voice again?

On Sundays, March 22 & March 29 we will post a video message from Pastor Darren encouraging us with ways we can embrace silence in a way that helps us reconnect with our Heavenly Father. The videos will be posted to the church website and on the church Facebook page and will remain there so we can share with family and friends (not a live feed).

Pastor Darren will share a video message from some pretty cool places all over the beautiful city of Savannah. Each week will be an encouraging message from God's Word on how we can ENDURE by faith through times of adversity.

We'll learn from the faith of some of Savannah's own historical characters, but most importantly, we'll see how we can trust God in uncertain times.

Videos will be posted weekly to the church website and to the church Facebook page beginning April 5 and will continue until we are able to gather back on campus together.

Interact as a family by participating with your preschoolers and children in watching the weekly lessons from the WONDER CLUBHOUSE curriculum by Orange.  These are the weekly lessons that are used by our TC@GS team to enhance their teaching during our regular Godley Kidz sessions at TC@GS.  These fun and interactive videos will keep your family in the Word of God and will build a stronger bond in your home.  Videos can be accessed on the Children's page here.
