INSTRUCTIONS ON RETURNING TO IN-PERSON WORSHIP

  • Governor Kemp has given churches the option of meeting in person with caution.  (April 20 Press Release)
  • Stay at Home order has been lifted for anyone under the age of 65 and who do not have existing health concerns. (April 30 Governor Kemp Executive Order)
  • President Trump deemed churches and gatherings for worship "essential". (May 2020)
  • Governor Kemp announced that gatherings should be limited to 50 "UNLESS" they observe social distancing measures (June 11, 2020). We can safely gather 75 for worship while at the same time observing social distancing measures.
  • THEREFORE - We will offer limited seating In-Person Worship (75 people) on Sundays.
  • We will offer 2 service times each Sunday: 9am & 10:30am. (Beginning August 23) 
  • There will be Children programming in both hours (9am & 10:30am).  Student programing in the second hour (10:30am). 
  • Please refrain from attending if you or your child, or anyone within your household, presently or recently have had a fever or have shown signs of being sick.
  • TO ATTEND IN-PERSON WORSHIP YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE BY TEXT.
  • REGISTRATION WILL OPEN EVERY MONDAY AT NOON FOR THE COMING SUNDAY.
  • To register for worship, text to this number (912) 330-8461.
  • To attend Sunday at 9am—text "worshipA".
  • To attend Sunday at 10:30am—text "worshipB"
  •  When you register, you will receive a reply asking you to register your name as well as a total number in your party.  You will also receive a confirmation of your registration.
  • If the service time you are requesting for the day is full, the system will recommend you try another service time.
  • If all services are full for the day you register, online Virtual Worship will still be available each week.
  • Seating in the Worship Center will be set in rows that will be 6ft. apart to accommodate social distancing. 
  • If you are not from the same household or arrived in the same car, we require you to leave 3 empty chairs on either side of you, to provide distance between you and another person or group.  
  • You will be allowed to sit together if you came from the same household or arrived to worship in the same car.
  • Dismissal will be done in an orderly fashion as to promote social distancing.
  • Greeters will be present at the doors to greet you with a smile (but not a handshake).
  • Please respect distance and refrain from shaking hands or hugging.
  • There will be no bulletins or other materials handed out nor will there be any coffee available at this time.
  • Restrooms will be open.
  • A team of volunteers will be present to sanitize facilities before and between services.
  • Attendees are strongly encouraged but not required to wear a mask. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be made readily available.
